I've decided to do away with all of the old blogs I posted. It was a mishmash of personal stories, horror movie rankings, and music interests. I will be rebooting this as a social science blog in which I can talk about my interests and research. This will surely mostly be sociology and social theory. But I'll make sure to mix in some philosophy, psychology, history, and cultural studies. I'll be posting my first blog of this sort later, so this is just a primer. Of course I decided to update this while I should be preparing to teach class, but that is neither here nor there.
